Lithium fire extinguishing gel works by cooling and smothering the fire. When applied, the gel forms a protective layer that absorbs heat, reducing the fire's temperature. Simultaneously, it blocks oxygen, suffocating the flames and preventing the fire from spreading. This makes it highly effective for extinguishing lithium-based battery fires.
